So much has happened over the past couple of months. Lots of heartbreaks, failures, give-ups, breakdowns and for some odd reason, I only remember the sadness. It has been awhile since I felt happy.
This time around, I am happy - well, contented. I've learned to expect less of people but expect more from myself. I can't rely on others for my own happiness, I've learn not to be a puppy dog when it comes to love. I've given up hope, I guess...
Apart from the sadness, I've recently started reading again. Yes, after months of neglecting the pile of dusty novels I have stashed, I'm actually loving it. I feel smarter by the page! haaa. Also, now that I'm earning a fairly steady income and with the right bunch of friends by my side, I've began attending gigs and fun places/countries with them! Just to name a few, I finally had my chance of watching Ezra of Vampire Weekend live at Big Night Out 2013, Singapore! I cried. Yes. I did.
I also caught a glimpse of Oliver Sims of the band The XX. He sounds AMAZING live! When VCR was played, I jizzed' a little. Don't judge. He's my favourite and so is that song! :) Check out the song via the link below. Love it or hate it, I won't judge! :)
Speaking of music, I discovered tons of new bands via Spotify. And because I'm dead lazy, I shall only list down my top 5 bands/songs kay? :)
1) The 1975 - Chocolate
2) Lisa Mitchell - Coin Laundry
3) The Jungle Giants - No One Needs To Know
4) Sticky Fingers - Australia Streets
5) Chance Waters - Young and Dumb
Amazing! Amazing! These are tunes to every moment, trust me. If you like them, I like you already! :)
I shall leave you with Chance Waters' Young and Dumb!
